Abbass is a Ph.D. student in the Instructional Technology program at Utah State University (USU) since Auguest 2006. He had his MS in Computer Science and a Minor in Mathematics from the Lebanese American University (LAU) in Beirut. He works as a software engineer and research assistant at COSL. His main research interests are in the fields of intelligent tutoring systems, instructional simulations, mathematics education, and computer science education.
Prior to joing USU, Abbass has succeeded in establishing and leading a Chapter for the Association of Computing Machienary (ACM) at LAU. He also have two years of experience teaching mathematics at the undergraduate level at LAU.
