OpenEd 2006 will be held in the Eccles Conference Center on the Utah State University campus.

Getting to Logan

Utah State University is located in Logan, Utah, an easy 80-minute drive north from the Salt Lake International Airport. Visitors will enjoy the scenic ride along the Wasatch Mountains via Interstate 15, then through the beautiful Cache National Forest and Wellsville Canyon on a wide, four-lane highway that takes you right into Logan.

Getting from the Airport to Logan

We recommend you either rent a car or take Cache Valley Limo's Airport Shuttle to get from the Salt Lake City Airport to Logan. If you take the shuttle, you must to make reservations in advance--you will not be able to "catch the shuttle at the airport". Also be aware that there are only 1-2 taxi cabs in Logan.

Approximately 3 miles from campus. We are working on transportation to/from the hotel but you may want to rent a car and park on campus, take the free public bus or arrange a shared ride.

Parking

Covered parking is available in the Parking Terrace next to the University Inn. The University Inn provides validations for their guests, all others will pay the current rates of $1.50 per hour, with a maximum day rate of $7.50.

Wireless Internet Access

The wireless internet access will be much improved over last year--each day we will provide a network access code that will allow you to use the wireless network in the Conference Center without having to register your computer or setup a proxy. Keep your fingers crossed!
